Kokeshi made and hand painted by the artist Seifu Gono.
The name Ume in Japanese means "plum blossom", and in fact on this doll's red kimono were painted white and golden plum blossoms.
The kokeshi stands 19cm tall and has a diameter of 6cm.
Original packaging is included, stamped and signed by the artist who created the kokeshi.
