Kokeshi Shiawase Pink

The term Shiawase in Japanese means "happiness". Happiness in this wooden doll, with an oval shape made and hand painted by Usaburo Kokeshi, is conveyed by the smiling, rosy and chubby face and by the lively pink color of the kimono on which there are white wildflowers. The wood used for the creation of this kokeshi is Mizuki (Japanese dogwood). This kokeshi stands 7cm tall and has a diameter of 5.5cm. Original packaging is included, stamped and signed by the artist who created the kokeshi.
