Kokeshi Korokoro (Hana-chan)
Kokeshi with a round shape made and hand painted by Usaburo Kokeshi. The term Korokoro in Japanese is an onomatopoeic expression, which expresses the sound of a small rolling object. This doll wears a red kimono with white plum blossoms (Ume).
The wood used for the creation of this kokeshi is Mizuki (Japanese dogwood). This kokeshi stands 9cm tall and 9cm in diameter. Original packaging is included, stamped and signed by the artist who created the kokeshi.
