Kokeshi Kojitsu

Kokeshi made and hand painted by Usaburo Kokeshi. The name Kojitsu in Japanese means "lucky day". Ume (plum) flowers have been engraved on the blue and brown kimono of this kokeshi. For the creation of the body and the helmet of this doll chestnut wood was used and Mizuki wood (Japanese dogwood) for the face.
The doll is 21cm tall and 9cm in diameter.
It is accompanied by a wooden plate, with his name in Japanese, the artist's signature and stamp and the original packaging is included, stamped and signed by Usaburo Kokeshi.
