Kokeshi Haruka

Kokeshi made and hand painted by the artisan Chie Tamura, stage name of Tamura Noboru. The term Haruka means "far-sighted". This kokeshi depicts a young girl with an elegant hairstyle enriched by a Kanzashi (traditional hair clip) and wearing a beautiful red and black kimono, decorated with pink cherry blossoms on the red part of the kimono and white on the black part. This doll stands 14.5cm tall and 6.5cm in diameter. Original packaging is included, stamped and signed by the artist who created the kokeshi.
