Kokeshi Hanamonogatari Ume
Kokeshi made and hand painted by Usaburo Kokeshi. Its name is Hanamonogatari Ume which in Japanese means "History of flowers, plum blossoms" and is part of a collection called "History of flowers". Plum blossoms have been engraved and painted on his kimono left in natural wood color. For the realization of this kokeshi Mizuki wood (Japanese dogwood) was used for the face and chestnut wood for the body and the helmet. She is 14cm tall and has a diameter of 7cm. Original packaging is included, stamped and signed by the artist who created the kokeshi.
