Kokeshi made and hand painted by the artist Usaburo, whose name means "Forever". A turtle and a crane are engraved on his kimono, symbols of longevity, health, fidelity and good luck. For the creation of this kokeshi Mizuki wood (Japanese dogwood) was used for the face and zelkowa wood for the body and the helmet. The doll is 20cm tall and 9cm in diameter.
This kokeshi is accompanied by a wooden plate on which is written his name, the signature and the stamp of the craftsman who made it. Original packaging is included, stamped and signed by the artist who created the kokeshi.
