Fuurin Kingyo
Fuurin Kingyo
Wind chime (Fūrin) in ceramic in the shape of a red fish (kingyo), provided with a cardboard strip tied to the clapper. Measurements: 5cm x 7cm. Hanging under a porch, on a veranda, in a plant outside or in the lowest branch of a tree, when the wind blows it will start to tinkle and will give your home or garden a right Japanese atmosphere. The fuurin are much loved by the Japanese as in summer these bells with their sweet and delicate sound make the hot and sultry days less heavy and oppressive. Furthermore, the Japanese think that their sweet sound floating and dancing in the wind can keep evil spirits away from homes.
